Ahh ... I think we have too big an emphasis on the fried chicken and watermelon stereotypes here. I really never see the monkey thing come up anymore.
Though, as Dave Chapelle said, it's unfair to categorize black people as eaters of fried chicken and watermelon ... because those things are delicious. And black people are made to feel like racial stereotypes for eating them. For shame. I'd be pissed if I couldn't eat fried chicken in front of white people.
