Political adverts over here have been the same for years now. Labour adverts tell you what the Tories will do if they get into power and vice versa. Bloody pointless.
As for KR2008, I saw the pilot episode in Phnom Penh and it was about as cheesy as the original. The change in car was highlighted in some way, but overall I think it looks far too much like the 1980's version to be worthwhile. It could get away with it *because* it was the 1980's. Unless the new one's improved on the trailer, it's really going to struggle.
