not really sure.. other than urban dictionary has the definition really wrong.. (I tried to google it) it is just an american colloquialism. =) I know it was already in use in the 70's, but my mom's generation afaik didn't use it.

and it should go "Let's blow this Popsicle Stand!" or some variation thereof. =D
