There were two crews following two lead journalists around Grant Park. Which seemed rather pointless.
The US elections had round-the-clock coverage on BBC News, presented live from DC - pretty much the same level of coverage as you'd get in a UK election, minus live feeds from every obscure outpost of the UK.
