Congratulations again :-)

I seem to remember your wife wanted to apply for proofreading, and then she was busy...I dunno, having a baby or something. Some excuse like that. Obviously I struck her off the list.

Kidding. Do tell her that when she's ready she's very welcome to apply again. I'm certain she'll be blissed out and/or cranky and CERTAINLY busy for a while, but it's something she could do as much or as little of as she liked while the little one is still in that oh-so-demanding stage, and when she is ready.

Or not, of course. But I wanted to let you know the option was still there.

My God....what you two went through! Happy to know everyone pulled through and the little one is thriving. It will all get better. The first few weeks are a roller coaster for sure.
