Lesbians have good taste in women. Who knew?

AfterEllen.com has compiled a list of the 100 hot women as decided by lesbians. Generally I highly approve of their choices - even if it is a tad weighed towards The L Word, a show I haven't even gotten around to watching. Amazing to think Carrie Anne Moss still makes the list, what, 5 years after all that Matrix buzz? But since when did Scarlett Johanssen have curves? She's all blonde hair and straight lines, surely? (total lack of acting ability notwithstanding)

And on another Firefox tab, I have loaded Dismal World - a collection of extraordinary and sad news photographs culled from the archives. Never let it be said that the internet has not encouraged my magpie media mentality...

What's interesting to me is that the women I find most attractive from The L Word are really low ranked -- Lauren Lee Smith IMHO should be in my bed with me right now higher than #78.

She doesn't show as much boobage in her AfterEllen photo as the two L Word actresses in the top 5. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I think Scarlett Johanssen and Renee Zellweger must have made some pact with the Devil. I just don't get their acting success at all.

Lost. the movie or that tv show? Renee was good in Brigit Jones but having seen her since she's of the Tom Cruise school of.. acting. It's Renee playing.. Except at least she can sing and she's cute when she and Ewan McGregor are in a film together. If you mean

that one has always gotten me. For some reason I recall it in color and with sound. How is beyond me. It evokes such a mix of emotions. He never moved... just silence from him.. you can hear the flames.. but *shudders*
