You're not saving money if you're spending it on stuff you don't need. Think about it - you buy a new laptop and you'll have to sell the old one... at a loss. You won't use the PSP - you just said so. iPods are shit (they're made by Apple for crying out loud). And chances are, the mobiles won't work.
I'd have gone for one of those funky Sony things I was on about some time ago, but I have no use for one any more seeing as I'm no longer traveling.
