How to get a cheap airfare in the UK - go via Australia...

I've been keeping an eye on flight prices between London and Cleveland (and London and New York!), and was all set to buy a flight for the somewhat ridiculous price of £400/US$800 when I saw a net tip-off that I coud buy flights via Expedia Australia, for a ridiculously low price.

Thus, I managed to buy a flight to Cleveland for the price of US$500/£250, all by going through another website for the same flight with the same taxes paid (as far as I can tell). The ticket seems legit...

and if this little trick works, I may be racking up the carbon emissions...
