Get any gathering of 5 or more Welsh voices in a room, and singing will take place. When it's a Welsh wedding in a Welsh chapel conducted in Welsh with mostly Welsh people, there's a *lot* of singing. In glorious heavenly voices. Not exactly much point competing against that, especially since I can't remotely sing.
Yeah, but you know us Americans, we all wish we were from somewhere else! (What's truly funny about your comment is I can actually sound either just like a soothing voice recording or a phone sex operator- people have told me both careers would work! I need to make a voice post one of these days.)
