Smoking is cool ... kinda...

almostwittychoirgrrl had a discussion on whether smoking was cool or not, and it struck me at that point that I bizarrely thought smoking was visually cool. Mostly because:
- Visually, it looks good. Even when the adverts are trying to stop you smoking:
It's almost as if Angelina Jolie herself is riding a bike and telling you to grab a fag.
- Since they banned smoking in UK pubs etc., you'll often see smokers huddled together outside. Which, ironically, makes me wish I could grab a fag and join them in their random conversations. And maybe I'd get more safe non-work practise in the art of small talk.
But then again, I can't stand the smell of smoke on my clothes. Although I do miss smelling it on my clothes the morning after the night before - it's one sign that you've gone out and done something.
And I biologically can't smoke. I keep coughing. Still, that's good news for my bank balance and what remains of my health...
