I wish i was in beijing! Alas the expenses department think i am but i am not. Which means when they find out there will be lots of nasty letters demanding i pay them back money they have not given me. Oy vey.

Oh.. Bureaucratic snafu.. !

I suppose they are the type where if you wandered down, showing them you were *actually* there - they'd deny you exist because the paper work - that they did incorrectly - says otherwise?

What a mess.. you have my sympathy. Hey! I have it. tell them to hand the funds over. take your new girl to Bejing, have a grand time, write a short blurb, and then they *can't* bitch about anything. Plus you get to go and I get a postcard and with luck a souvenir! *giggle*
