• 23:00 is surprised the poppy is a symbol worn in America, at least according to the BBC's Question Time, coming from Washington DC #
• 23:30 is admiring Question Time for its reduction of international stereotypes. Americans = loud, divided. Britain = bemused, slightly sneering. #
• 23:50 is impressed my Dad - in Hong Kong - knows that Doctor Who is leaving. Bless him... #

Well, so far Boris has managed to fire London's police chief - possibly the first politician to do so.

Which Ken personal projects are you referring to? I didn't get back to London till this year... and I left in 2001. Public transport prices are always going to rise because it needs huge investment - but at least there's a vague sign of the improvements in London these days...
