So every so often, I'll find a cool video/image/thing that I just want to share with EVERYONE on the various websites out there, in one simple click.

Specifically websites like:

- Facebook (which is pretty much supported by every sharing solution out there)
- Livejournal (which isn't)
- Dreamwidth (ditto)
- Posterous (no longer supports sharing to LJ)
- Tumblr (doesn't support sharing to anything!)
- Google+ (doesn't support sharing to anything!)
- Wordpress blog (has a whole range of plug-ins but seems like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut)

However, I've yet to find a one-click solution that'll do that for all the above websites.

Anyone got any ideas on how to accomplish this?

How do you feel about the way I share things?

I share everything with my one click bookmark to Delicious. I have Twitterfeed to check for new Delicious shares every half hour, that then automatically gets ported to Facebook. You can bypass Delicious and just go via Bitly for these two.

I also have the Delicious blog poster set to send a post every day to Dreamwidth, that then gets crossposted to LJ. Basically, every time I read an interesting thing, I just hit a link, describe it, and it does the rest. Takes a bit of setup, but it seems to work well, and I definitely pick up Twitter followers &c because of it.

There are AddThis plugins and similar which'll auto share to LJ, but not yet DW (lJ is big, so they wrote a special protocol, this would work for DW but DW isn't big enough for AddThis to bother, DW is planning to implement some standard protocols but not figured which ones are best yet and there are too many).

G+ is problematic currently as they haven't published any APIs so no one can share to/from them unless they use the Google made plugins, which I find a bit clunky. You can share stuff to Tumble from most places via feeds and similar, but again a bit clunky.

One click multi sharing is what I used to like Posterous for. However...

Crossposting to Tumblr and Facebook are high on Denise's wishlist for Dreamwidth, so effectively you'll get one click multi sharing from here if someone can code it (and she's offering bounties)

Making it one click should actually be fairly easy (well, two, you'll need a submit or confirm) once it's all ready. The joys of being a small open source platofrm is anything you want can be considered. The drawback is you then need some volunteers to work on it, and most of it is way beyond my basic hacking skills.
