This moment was apparently so incredibly cute and wonderful that my darling wife decided to save it for me so she could play it back for me.

andrew: i've seen every episode of Doctor Who. Not red dwarf though, cuz...
jonathan: cuz it's not out yet on DVD.
spike: WARREN!

I'm kinda failing to see the cuteness factor here... then again, I have a huge block on Buffy. And Charmed for that matter. I may have the same block with True Blood.

Everyone keeps telling me that. But the acting and scenario seem so terrible I just can't buy into it.

I can't speak for that particular scene, as I don't remember it. But one scene isn't really enough to judge ANY show, as I'm sure you realize. Buffy could be very uneven, but as a whole, it really was pretty amazing.

Thanks to the wonders of repeats, and our rule that whoever holds the baby holds the remote control, I've been subjected to a fair few of Buffy Season Six episodes recently. And found them squirm-worthy, but somehow still holding my attention ever so reluctantly.

S2-S5 are the winners. I like S1, but it's got a somewhat different, and somewhat goofier feel than the rest of the series.

S6 & S7 are total and utter angst fests. With a couple of notable exceptions, they weren't worth slogging through.
